Dear All:

Program 1 of the Northwell nursing policies was assigned to RNs on June 5th in the iLearn platform. Each policy module included an attestation statement. The recommend “Go Live” date is June 24th, Wednesday.

The following policies include:

  • Vital Signs for Adult and Pediatric Patients PCS.1631
  • Patient Body Weight Assessment PCS.1628
  • Tracheostomy Care PCS.1635
  • Transport of the Adult Patient WITHIN a Facility PCS.1618
  • Accu-Chek Inform II Meter System for Blood Glucose Monitoring SLS.701


Any Phelps site specific policy will be “Sunset”. 

The General Index of Nursing Standards of Practice will be updated by Denise Podell.

Program 2 is under development. Anticipated iLearn assignment will be July.
